Hi all!
I have to build WISP-dist on my system, and their build requirements state:
Code: | Build procedure requirements:
1) Machine running linux 2.4 kernel, glibc 2.2.x and gcc <= 3.2.x
2) syslinux, mkfs.minix, mkfs.msdos, mkcramfs, wget, other standard utilities.
3) Free disk space, around 200 mb.
4) Patience if you have a slow Internet connection. :) |
I have a 2.6 system. How I make my system usable with 2.4 as well? Is it just a matter of compiling a 2.4 kernel, and booting it? _________________ Greetz,

well yeah, but if you have modules for your gfx/sound whatever they wont work with both kernels without being re-compiled for the current running kernel. _________________ Main:
Kernel: 5.4.38 amd64

No problem there... All I need the 2.4 kernel for is compiling WISP-dist... _________________ Greetz,
