Hello, i curently store my music in flac format and use amorak/transcode to convert on the fly to mp3 when copying to mp3 player. I want to be able to set compression/qaulity so files are smaller but cannot see how to?

I know i can set mp3 qaulity kde setting but this does not affect amorak/transcode!

Is it possible to change this?

cheers

Hello, ok i have look at the transcode script config in amorak and it has profiles for encoding which i can use to right click on entry in play list and then re-encode to choosen format. One profile i can choose MP3 extreme which halves the size of mp3 that i normally get when encoding on the fly to USB player using mp3 format.

I can set the profile out put dir so it will write (not tried it) to USB music player but this sort of defeats the point of having transfer to media feature?
