Ok I am not that familiar with the mac-fdisk stuff. I got my hands on a iBook 700Mhz with 256Mb of RAM. Was going to try to set up Gentoo on it but don't know where I went wrong. When I went to reboot i just sit there with the little mac icon folder flashing the face and a ? at me and Gentoo doesnt boot. Anybody want to slap me and tell me what I did wrong? |

If you've got the Gentoo CD in the drive, try holding down the "c" key as you turn on the machine. That should force it to boot from the CD. _________________ --brain |
