This is my arc.cf:
Code: |
# ARCLoad Configuration
# Default settings;
append "ro";
append "console=tty0";
append "video=impactsr:1280x1024";
# Octane definition
ip30
{
description "SGI Octane R10000\r\n";
# Default kernel: 2.6.17.14
# OSLoadFilename="ip30(linux)"
linux
{
description "\tDefault boot\r\n";
image system "/vmlinux";
append "root=/dev/sda1";
}
}
|
Please specify your troubles in more details. _________________ hanc |

I had problems too with arcload and although this is not the proposed strategy this worked for me:
I used recommended Values and places for everything but i set SystemPartition to the volume-header partition. Then arcload worked and I got my SGI to boot. |
