emerging bcm4400 driver (ebuild) failed

Is here anyone who had success when emerging the bcm4400 (any version) ebuild? I use a 2.6.18 suspend2-sources kernel and gcc-4.1. There are compiler errors indicating missing definitions and other syntax errors. Unfortunately the kernel-support for this ethernet card has been removed so I am depending on this ebuild.

EDIT: Hm, for an unknown reason I just couldn't find the module in the kernel config. So the ethernet card works fine now.
