I want to play decoded DTS with mplayer-bin

I need to use the bin version of mplayer because video is WMV9  . The problem is, the sound is DTS, and mplayer bin only does SPDIF passthough, and does not decode the sound to stereo PCM.

Code:
Opening audio decoder: [ffmpeg] FFmpeg/libavcodec audio decoders
Cannot find codec 'dts' in libavcodec...
ADecoder init failed :(
ADecoder init failed :(
Opening audio decoder: [hwac3] AC3/DTS pass-through S/PDIF
No accelerated IMDCT transform found
hwac3: switched to DTS, 768000 bps, 48000 Hz
AUDIO: 48000 Hz, 2 ch, ac3, 768.0 kbit/50.00% (ratio: 96000->192000)
Selected audio codec: [hwdts] afm: hwac3 (DTS through S/PDIF)

The normal mplayer plays the sound, but not the video...

Is there any solution for this?

Unmask and emerge mplayer-1.0_rc1 with the dts useflag. The latest (but still masked) versions of ffmpeg, xine-lib and mplayer can play most wmv files now, without using win32codecs. So you can use native 64bit compiled programs.

Well, that sort of works, but decoding 1080p is not the kind of thing this wmv9 decoder seems to like: It's slow as hell, and any keypress stops the video and audio completely.

CPU power with win32 codecs: about 20% for both CPU's (mean)
CPU power with native wmv9: 100% on one CPU, the other one doing nothing.

Seems to me that there is still a not of stuff needed to get this thing workable!

So thats not an acceptable solution

Why did they just forget the DTS decoder in the bin distributable :?:

Well, at least 720p plays acceptable :D Though, visually, the native decoder does not really do a good job :(

Any decent solution for this problem :?:
