I wrote a simple Python command-line interface for http://metamark.net (the source of http://xlr.us tiny URLs). Basically it accepts URLs from STDIN or command line arguments and grabs shortened URLs for them (similar to 'nopaste'). It is currently in the Gentoo Sunrise overlay.
So, for example:
Code: | # dmesg | grep -in "fglrx" | nopaste | turl
$ turl http://ndansmith.net/software/poddy/
$ turl < url-list |
That gives you a nice small URL for your paste bin entry. You can feed as many URLs as you want.
Anyhow, I am grateful for any feedback - particularly bugs and feature suggestions.

[EDIT]It has been reviewed and is in the Sunrise overlay now. It is also bug #158104 and been assigned to maintainer-wanted. |
