Is there anybody with a working Epson RX640 on an amd64 box ? (iscan does not start by me; gutenprint does not know the 640 , ...)

Opentaka ; I already explored the information of your link.

There seems confusion whether this is for an epson color 640 or epson color photo rx640. After all it is for the first one, not mine. Gimp-print has no driver for RX640 (it stops at RX600 and this one only gives a bunch of blank pages). Gutenprint does not go further than RX 630. I tried to follow the installation instructions from Avasys but no luck up till now

Meanwhile I got the scanner working (transparant holder included) with iscan/xsane.

Printer is not yet working. Cannot install pipslte compiling from source on amd64.
