The bar in yakuake where it displays the tabs is "transparent", i.e. it shows a part of my KDE wallpapaper. The problem is that it only does this with the background to my first desktop and that it looks pretty ugly with my current pic. Is there a way do disable this transparency?

1st make sure you disable the transparent schema in yakuake..

you arent running beryl or compiz at all?

If not then check /Control Center / Desktop / Panels / Appearance / and make sure "Enable transparency" is unchecked.
and /Control Center / Desktop / Window Behavior / Translucency / and uncheck ...

Yeah, I tried several things myself but this seems to be hardcoded. Thanks anyway.

If anyone has another idea, I'll still appreciate it.
