Vorrei sapere come mai quando avvio samba oppure cupsd mi viene fuori il seguente errore:
| Code: | | /usr/sbin/cupsd: error while loading shared libraries: libldap-2.3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory |
ldap?? mai installato

deve essere presente come dipendenza, evidentemente
ormai LDAP lo si usa ovunque

Ho verificato che openldap-2.3 è installato di default in un'installazione da stage3. Probabilmente hai fatto l'installazione, installato qualche software (es. cups che è stato compilato con il supporto a ldap), e successivamente avrai rimosso openldap-2.3 (magari tramite emerge --depclean)

1- cups funziona
2- revdep-rebuild: mi spiegate ancora qual è la funzione di questo tool che dopo tutto sto tempo devo ancora capirlo bene?  |

cups non è l'unico tool a usare LDAP, è solo uno dei mille...
quanto alla funzione di revdep-rebuild, pensoc he la documentazione ufficiale potrebbe essere molto più chiara di chiunque sul forum, nnon trovi? |

gli eseguibili sono linkati a librerie
se una di queste viene cambiata o cancellata, il linking diventa "broken" e l'eseguibile non va più
revdep-rebuild cerca queste cose. |
