hi all,
I am using Gnome 2.14 a[/code]nd recently updated my gtk+ to 2.10.6
Since then whenever I execute gdmsetup it gives me a message :
| Code: | | (gdmsetup:10192): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to set text from markup due to error parsing markup: Error on line 2 char 9: Invalid UTF-8 encoded text |
Although the actual gdmsetup isn't affected in any way (i can see), it doesnt look normal to have this error.
I tried to update gdm to 2.16.2 and gtk-engines to 2.8.2 but still doesn't work.
There were a couple of threads about this but no apparent solutions.

| I'm having the same error, but it seems to be having an effect. GDM will not take the autologin or timed login options. They seem to set, but when I come back, they have reset to no user |
