I'm trying to install Together architect 2006 for eclipse that I downloaded from the borland site (I need it for school), however on installation the .bin file gives me the following errors:

Google told me that it was because of the program referring to 32-bit libraries (altough I have multilib in my use flags), so I made a 32 bit chroot following the gentoo howto. In this 32-bit chroot I still ge the same error So I'm pretty clueless what to do now. Perhaps some kind of dependency error?

that looks like a dependency problem alright. Did you check if it's in portage? If not, try to find the program that provides those libraries (libc and librt). I think to get libc you just emerge libc. Not sure about librt, but you could try just emerging it. |

I already foundt the problem. It's an installAnywhere <8.x bug (the prog that created the .bin) there's no real working workaround for it and borland doesn't really want to update there .bin it seems. All they say is "install it on a working machine and copy it to yours" So for now I'm stuck with the windows version. |
