Il "seek time" è il tempo medio necessario per posizionare la testina del disco sulla traccia corretta.
L'aumentare di questo parametro o di un indice ad esso correlato è sinonimo di un deterioramento del disco,
Se questo parametro continua ad aumentare, io personalmente mi farei un backup e dopo aver disegnato cerchi rosso e due triangoli posizionerei il PC al centro

| a me è capitato una volta ... piu di un anno fa (forse 2) ... quando pasticciavo (è un eufemismo) con hdparm ... ma l'hd è ancora qui a fare il suo dovere (anche se i dati sono backuppati 2 volte al dì) |
