Hello,
I'm trying to install Gentoo 2006.1 on i686 platform using internet and the minimal CD, but i have a problem in downloading stage 3 that when i was downloading it from a mirror using links browser, it reaches to about 97% from download then it aborted and a message appear told me that there are no space to continue downloading stage 3.
Can you help me please, Sorry for bad English. |

Make sure you mounted the partition you want to install gentoo on.

Trying to install Gentoo in a partition smaller than 2GB will be very difficult.
My guess is the partition(s) you created for Gentoo have not been mounted yet, and that is why you are running out of space (in RAM). |
