I have a question about text files preview in nautilus. I would like to disable it, because it's a lot more useful for me to see the icon of e.g. python script, c source or HTML file instead of those micro-letters from several first lines of the file which are shown in the icon. But when I disable this preview I'm getting totally white icons, they don't change to their defaults. So I would like to ask where to set icons for different files? |

Open a nautilus window, click edit >> preferences >> preview, and set things the way that you would like them.
Also, if you want the command line way to do it:
Code: |
gconftool-2 --type string --set /apps/nautilus/preferences/show_icon_text never |
