Hallo
Ich habe ein Problem mit meinem wpa_supplicant.
Ich habe ein neues Notebook, und versuche mein wpa nun wieder zum Laufen zu bringen.
meine wpa_supplicant.conf und meine /etc/conf.d/net habe ich von meinem alten Notebook auf das neue System kopiert, und die neuen interfacenamen angepasst.
Wenn ich nun meine /etc/init.d/net.ath0 starten will, erhalte ich folgende Meldung:

* Couldn't associate with any access points on ath0

Für mein Netz ist in der wpa_supplicant.conf ein psk eingetragen, aber anscheinend wird die wpa_supplicant.conf nicht ausgewertet.
Googel hat mir leider auch nicht weitergeholfen.
Hat irgendjemand einen Tipp für mich?
edit:
mit | Code: | | wpa_supplicant -dd -D madwifi -i ath0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf |
kann ich mich auf meinen AP verbinden.

| Hast du runlevel-spezifische Konfigurationsdateien? Wie z. B. /etc/conf.d/net.default und /etc/conf.d/net.router? Ich hatte mal das selbe Problem und bei mir war's einfach daran gelegen, daß ich die Daten in die falsche Konfigurationsdatei geschrieben hab! |

welche version von wpa_supplicant verwendest du?
denn ab der 0.5.x version (glaube ich) muss die wpa_supplicant.conf in /etc/wpa_supplicant/ liegen, wenn man es über das init-script verwendet möchte.

| Hast du modules_ath0=( "wpa_supplicant" ) in der /etc/conf.d/net eingetragen? |

dann kopier deine wpa_supplicant.conf mal ins entsprechende subdir.
Hatte hier das n ähnliches problem, nur dass ich mich gewundert hab warum mein NB partout nur ins offene WLAN meines Nachbarn wollte *lol*

Welches Subdir meinst du?
Ich habe die wpa_supplicant.conf in /etc stehen.
Auf Verdacht hin habe ich einen symlink nach /etc/wpa_supplicant erstellt.
Geholfen hat es leider nicht |

Hallo
Also, installiert habe ich die Version 0.5.4
Ursprünglich hatte ich die wpa_supplicant.conf in /etc liegen, und einen Symlink nach /etc/wpa_supplicant erstellt.
nun habe ich den Symlink wieder entfernt, und die wpa_supplicant.conf nach /etc/wpa_supplicant verschoben.
Geholfen hat es aber nicht.
edit:
Was geholfen hat, war folgendes:
Ich hatte aus irgendeinem Grund
| Code: | | modules=( "ifconfig" ) |
in meiner /etc/conf.d/net stehen.
Auf meinem anderen Notebook scheint das nicht weiter zu stören.
Nachdem ich diese Zeile auskommentiert habe, hat alles funktioniert
