Hi,

The exact problem is that the message isn't rendered properly. The mails do arrive and I can read them, but the images and text appear only after scrolling down few pages of the message. In the beginning of the message there is just grey background of the message box. Is there perhaps some dependency I'm missing? I have setup 'load images' and 'use html formatting' options in evolution.

At the moment evolution is compiled with these useflags: crypt dbus hal ipv6 ldap spell ssl -bogofilter -debug -doc -kerberos -krb4 -mono -nntp -pda -profile. The evolution version is 2.8.2.1.

I'm currently using pop3 protocol and I tried previously using imap4 but it had the same issue so I tried to switch protocol to see if it helps. Could it be firewall problem? At the moment I have http and https ports open.

TIA. :)

edit: Other things I could think of is character encoding. I'm usinf utf8 locale. I've tried iso-8859-1 encoding too but it doesn't help.

Not to be snarky, but this release is ~arch. You should report a bug.

NP. The problems could be because of that. Right, I'll go browse bug reports next.

I have all(or almost all) of the Gnome ~arch packages installed and there doesn't seem to be bug reports made about this issue. At least not yet.
