I have no issues at all with gcc 3.4.6 (recompiled the system two times with gcc 4.1.1-r1 and gcc 4.1.1. - still have the same issues).
Memory is okay. Any ideas what I could do beside downgrading the gcc?

Quick update: I made all ACPI as Modules and load them via modules.autoload.d.
The crashes are gone now. But, if I make the ACPI-Processor-Driver as Module,
Frequency-Scaling won't work anymore (works compiled into kernel, but then I
have the crash) :(

I'm getting the exact same kernel bug (same line and everything), but it generally only happens when scrolling in Firefox. It used to happen when I moved windows around on the screen as well, but I turned off all of the KDE visual effects and it stopped. I don't get the error message with GCC 3.4.6, but the effect is the same--the display becomes corrupt and usually locks completely. Sometimes if I notice it quickly enough I can Ctrl+Alt+F1 to a console and then back to KDE, and it will be repaired.

When I upgraded to GCC 4.1.1 and the newest nvidia drivers (1.0.9742), it stopped for a couple of weeks. But now it gives that error message, which is progress (since before I wasn't getting any error at all). Same effect--display corruption, locking, etc.

Kernel is 2.6.16-suspend2-r8 #9 PREEMPT, but it happens with the regular gentoo and vanilla kernels as well, if I remember correctly.
