Hi,
im trying to install the gnome-mac-menu bar applet, but does this mean i have to re-compile gtk+ if i compiled it originally without the use flag "macmenu"?
or do i have to download and compile a new gtk+ that has macmenu support?
see here for more info.
i've already compiled gtk+ 2.10.6, but without the use flag: "macmenu"
also, how do i install the gnome-macmenu-applet ebuild?
when i do Code: | USE="macmenu" emerge -av gnome-macmenu-applet | it says it cant find the ebuild to satisfy "gnome-macmenu-applet"
the solution to this is probably very simple, but for some reason, im just not getting it...
thanks. _________________ Lovin' Choc Cake...

You need use portage overlay from http://svn.gentoo-xeffects.org/xeffects/
How set portage overlay you can read http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Installing_3rd_Party_Ebuilds _________________ Home: Athlon XP 2000+, ATI Radeon 9200 64Mb, 512Mb, hda:40Gb, hdb:120Gb, DVD-RW

..and to get rid of it, you'll have to recompile it once more w/o macmenu useflag, as GTK_MENUBAR_NO_MAC=1 doesn't seem to work ... _________________ http://proaudio.tuxfamily.org/wiki - pro-audio software overlay
