|
|
Hello,
I used to be able to su into a different user in a terminal and then launch firefox and it would launch with that users profile/settings.
Then gradually it would do it only once in a while and now it wont do it at all, it only launches the logged in users firefox.
How can i fix this?
Thanks in advance

Are you using "su - username"? If you omit - environmental variable will not initialize for the new user. You could also use sudo to do what you want -- it might be a little more convenient
edit: also:
firefox --help wrote: |
-P <profile> Start with <profile>.
-ProfileManager Start with Profile Manager.
