i just installed 1.3a without a hitch except for kdemultimedia. Everything certainly runs better than before. my system no longer gets choppy when im emergin something in the background, and it feels snappier. no red "!" during bootup. all in all alot of little problems i had with 1.0 diappeared.
during instalation alot of the makes or compilations or whatever they are told me something about headers being deprecated. should i be worried? |

No, that's not a big issue; some programs use older headers. Everything is fine... for now, at least. |

Same :) 1.3a but I had problems with glibc, so I decided to get a stage2 tarball instead of #1 _________________ Corona Extra is your friend. |

so what you are saying is that in no way should gcc3.1 cause wolfenstein to crash consistently. (see thread in gamers and players_. |

No, what I'm saying is that programs that use old headers will work using those headers in the immediate future. No guarantees about GCC 3.1's functionality. |
