beryl redraw/flicker issue

i have a small problem with beryl ( dunno if its beryls fault, but anyway):
i use nvidia-driver-1.0.9629, xorg 7.1 with aiglx, dri and glx (do i need dri anyway?) in xorg.conf, kernel 2.6.19-gentoo-r1, gnome 2.14.2, beryl 0.1.2.

ok, the problem is that sometimes (like every 30secs, sometimes more, sometimes less) the whole screen starts to "redraw". its hard to explain, it looks as if you have a movie with 25fps and one or two frames are black every 30 secs. i tried to deactivate various beryl plugins, but no luck.
anyone else who has this problem?
