Hi.
Ich versuche gerade glibc-2.4-r4 zu installieren, scheitere aber mit folgender Fehlermeldung:

Da es in einem ähnlichen Thread hieß, daß dies ein Problem im Zusammenhang mit utf8 sein könnte, hab ich auch schon versicht, mit vorangestellten LC_ALL="{de_DE@euro|de_DE|C}" zu kompilieren - ohne Erfolg. Die Toolchain hab ich erst vor zwei Wochen rekompiliert.

Ich habe inzwischen mal probiert, glibc-2.5 zu kompilieren - mit demselben Ergebnis.
Hat jemand einen Vorschlag? |

| Und wieder ein Versuch gescheitert - diesmal `emerge -e glibc'. Kann ich sonst noch was versuchen? |

Scheint ein eher seltener und schwer zu reproduzierender Fehler zu sein, das sinnvollste was ich auf bugs.gentoo.org noch gefunden habe ist folgendes: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108519#c2
Falls das auch nix hilft eröffne bitte einen neuen Bugreport dazu, bitte stell dabei aber deine Sprache auf Englisch um - "nicht erfüllt" und "Beendet" hilft den englischsprechenden Maintainern recht wenig.

Hi, amne!
Danke für den Tip. Ich hatte den Thread und den Bugreport zwar schon entdeckt und die vorgeschlagene Lösung ausprobiert, dabei allerdings nur LC_ALL auf en_US gesetzt. Das war anscheinend zu wenig; ich habe nun alle LC-Variablen mit en_US gefüllt und es scheint zu klappen - glibc kompiliert. Ich erkläre das Problem mal für gelöst.
