Hi,
ich konnte gestern abend noch gemuetlich nen film per tv out auf meiner couch sehen ... heut morgen hab ich nen emerge sync && emerge -u system gemacht. auf config's wie die /etc/X11/XF86Config etc. hab ich geachtet, sodass die nicht ueberschrieben werden ...
jedoch tut der tv out trotzdem nicht mehr.
wenn ich die option connected monitors in der XF86Config aendere, auf den Screen TV bekomm ich weder ein bild auf dem fernseher, noch ein bild auf dem monitor. und dank framebuffer console kann ich auch die console mit F1 nicht wechseln. 
woran kann das noch liegen?? nvidia treiber sind geladen.

welchen player benutzt du? falls xine dann musst du warten bis version 1.0 rauskommt weil die das mit dem tvout rausgenommen haben.

Hi,
sorry, hatte die info vergessen, dass ich ein etc-update gemacht hatte.
player ist schnuppe. geht ja gar nix.
sobald ich in der XF86Config als connected monitor den TV mit eintrage bekomm ich kein bild mehr. und wie gesagt, dank framebuffer support (den ich beim naechsten kernel sicherlich wieder rausnehmen werde!) kann ich nicht auf eine andere console wechseln. der bildschirm bleibt einfach schwarz.
konnte 'blind' noch ein rc-update del xdm absetzen, sodass ich zumindest auf der shell am anfang arbeiten konnte. kein plan, was da schief gegangen ist. hab beim etc-update eigentlich sorfaeltig aussortiert, welche configs ich behalten will und die anderen gemerged.

hm du verwendest aber schon den vga framebuffer, der nvidia framebuffer treiber macht mehr probleme als das er hilft

naja das ist mir etwas zu umständlich das einzurichten, ich warte einfach bis wieder die neue xine version rauskommt,zur zeit gucke ich eh alles auf meinem dvd player. Ich find das nvtv unter xine einfach praktischer, weil ich da nur 2 mal F drücken muss und das bild ist perfekt angepasst auf dem fernseher.

wie funktioniert denn dieses twinview? geht das mit ner GF4Ti?
und btw. wie loese ich nun das eigentliche problem??

beim letzten mal (als es noch funktioniert hatte) hab ich einfach zu TCR noch TV eingetragen ...
