|
|
Hey guys - I've noticed the time on a few of my gentoo boxes (not to mention the laptop with the shot mobo battery) was getting a little out of sync. Is there a way to syncronize my system's clock with an online time server?
I'm guessing there's either a setting somewhere, or a daemon/cron job out there to deal with just what I need. I really enjoy not having to update the clock of my macs, windows, or SLED/SLES machines. Thanks in advance!
Bill

try
You can then setup your very own time server, or
just use ntpdate in a cron job to set time from a
remote time server. |

Thanks! I think ntp is just what the doctor ordered -- thanks again for steering me in the right direction!
