Hi,

I'm on GNOME and whenever I have amarok running the message "Launching HTTP cache cleaner" appears periodically, messing up my panel and turning my pointer into a clock symbol. This is getting really annoying and I'm wondering if there's a way to suppress the notice. I have no problem with running the cache cleaner per se but I really wish it would shut the hell up!

(And no, I'm not planning on switching to KDE)

You could use "devilspie" (it's in portage) to at least have no entry in the task bar.
