Hi all,
Thanks for reading this.
I've been hosting my own website on a broadband connection for two years now and have loved having the chance to do my own sysadmin work. Unfortunately I'll be moving soon to a location that doesn't offer broadband and would like to continue the "do it myself" approach.
What hosting options do you know of that will provide this at an affordable price?
I noticed that http://www.sevenl.net/ has this at about $78 a month. While not bad I'd like to have that lower if possible.
I have my own box but it's a mid-tower case instead of a rackmount case otherwise I'd look for a colo option (most colo options I've found require your server to be rackmountable).
Again, thanks for reading this. All suggestions will be appreciated. |

Thank you! That looks more along the lines of what I can afford. |

From a basic bit of research it seems there is no swap space option and many people are having heavy I/O issues.

If I went with them I'd prob have to choose another distro due to memory requirements (and swap being unavailable). |
