Hi,
I had recently some random crashes. They happen quit seldom, but they are there. I think it is my harddisk's fault. It usually happens when I want to save a file. Then the LED of the harddisk does not blink anymore and everthing crashes a few secons later. When I press "reset" I get some disk failure errors and cannot boot my computer again. Only if I do a complete power off and switch it on again everything works fine again.

Is there something to be sure that my harddisk is broken? I still have warranty on that thing. If I go to the store and say "hey, my linux box crashes sometimes after 12 hours of work" I don't think they will give me a new one.
Perhaps this is not a hardware problem. Here some other information:
