never had this problem before... any suggestions?

so does that mean i should build alsa into the kernel, or use the kernel modules? _________________ help the needy |

It's upto you whether to build in or use modules. If you have the system setup to use modules then that is probably the way to go. Build alsa into the kernel then add your soundcard as a module, it will keep your boot screens free of errors

IF you want to use 2.6.19, use alsa-driver 1.0.14_rc1 and *not* 1.0.13. _________________ You want to know what I'm working on right now? Just follow my blog. |
