WPA and Orinoco/Atheros

Hi guys. Ive recently bought an Orinoco 8470-WD gold hoping that the wireless would work.

Well... the wireless does work but i cant get wpa_supplicant to work with madwifi-ng. So Im giving ndiswrapper a try, to see if it can get wpa to work. Unfortunately I havent been able to come out with much success. Can anyone help me? Maybe somebody has the same card and point me in the right direction.

was wpa_supplicant compiled with madwifi flag on?

Yeah.

I did:

USE="madwifi" emerge wpa_supplicant

Also, madwifi is in my /etc/make.conf
