I've been fooling around with "Suspend" on an old Sony VAIO laptop. (PCG-FX140) Everything seems fine except, when it wakes up, the video-screen doesn't turn on. The system is back to life, but the screen is dark.
I know that scripts are executed upon wakeup to handle things like this. Has anyone else already encountered and solved this particular problem on similar hardware? |

Try appending the following to the kernel command line of the kernel before suspending:
Code: | acpi_sleep=s3_mode,s3_bios |
