[Solved] stupid question but...

How do i set a domain name to my gentoo mashine? curently it says unkown domain under boot, how do i change this? i tryed to read the handbook and search the forum with out finding anything, also looked through the example list for /etc/conf.d/net and tryed

nis_domain_eth0="domain"

but that dident work...
