I feel like a total idiot here, My box was several months out of date and I believe postfix got updated last night along w/ some other major things like apache and mysql, there were no postifx configs to check after etc-update, and rev-dep rebuild did a good job of fixing php mysql problems w/ apache. Now today, postfix fails to start and I honestly don't know what logs to look into for info as to why its not starting, /var/log/mail/current & /var/log/everything/current shows nothing about it. I used the "Virtual Mailhosting System with Postfix Guide" to set this up about 2 years ago and i've never had problems w/ an update killing my setup... any ideas on how to start troubleshooting? |

hmm... seems to be a problem w/ /etc/init.d/postfix script as the /usr/sbin/postfix start worked |
