Hi,
After I upgraded to blender 2.44 (which is still marked as ~), it started happening that X crashes sometimes when I start blender. It doesn't respond to anything anymore (although I can still move the mouse cursor), anything visual freezes (my systray applets for example) and X starts using 100% CPU. The system itself doesn't hang, because I can still log into my machine through SSH. When I do, reboot is the only solution. I can't even kill -9 X.
Anybody else has this problem, or knows what might be the cause?
