(not sure this is the right place for this but ...)
When /etc/init.d/cpufreqd starts at bootup, it gives
a message about apm_init: /proc/apm not found
(or something like that).
I don't use apm, just acpi.
Anyone know why I get this message and how to make
it go away. TIA,

have you emerge cpufreqd with the apm flag?
