hey guys

Tried scanning forum quickly for an answer, but failed so:

I set my volumes in alsamixergui and do /etc/init.d/alsasound save

restarting the alsasound deamon and its still at the volumes I set it at.

On every reboot it mutes master and PCM to 0

anyone else had this issue?? Any ideas?

cheers for any help

Do you have in /etc/conf.d/alsasound
Code:
RESTORE_ON_START="yes"
SAVE_ON_STOP="yes"
?

You could try
Code:
alsactl store
or
Code:
alsactl store 1
and I read somewhere that it is necessary to have loaded alsa at the default runlevel
