Salve,
in generale vorrei sapere se è possibile definire variabili come LINGUAS="it" solo per dei programmi specifici.

Di solito, come penso chiunque, utilizzo il file package.use per le USE flag locali ai pacchetti, ma per le variabili di altro tipo?

Quindi in generale basta fare

Per esempio aggiungo una riga nel package.use del tipo:

media-sound/alsa-driver alsa_cards_snd_hda_intel_usb_audio

nel caso volessi che siano installati sia i moduli per la scheda audio integrata, sia quelli per attaccare un eventuale dispositivo audio bluetooth, usb..

la sintassi è: <variabile_minuscola>_<valore>

per le schede audio è:

In una delle ultime GWN è segnalata una proposta di flameeyes di aggiungere al pacchetto alsa-driver la USE "expanded" ALSA_CARDS.
