Is suspend2 supposed to return me to the commandline? It goes well up until it says 'doing atomic copy' and after that returns me to the command line. Even when I tell it to resume2=swap:/dev/hda2 (my swap is on /dev/hda2), it says that the image cannot be found. Here's my suspend2.conf:
Code: | UseSuspend2 yes
Reboot yes
EnableEscape yes
DefaultConsoleLevel 3
Compressor lzf
Encryptor none
SuspendDevice swap:/dev/hda2
PowerDownMethod 4 |
What's even more confounding is that my suspend2.conf says 'reboot yes' but it never reboots! Is this supposed to happen?
EDIT: After it says 'doing atomic copy' in dmesg, it says 'PSE is required for swsusp'. I Googled... got some arcane kernel stuff. Is this the problem? _________________ When you are clever, you realize you are stupid; when you are stupid, you realize you are clever. |
