Yes it is supposed to. If you have a linux running already then install it from there, Just follow the install instructions with minor changes to suit your system up to the chroot. I have created another system inside my operating gentoo by chrooting in a gnome terminal window, and still had galeon and evolution running fo surfing and mail. _________________ Brian
