|
|
Every time I start gnome I get the error from the gnome-settings daemon that he can't find the address of the dbus message bus.
After the first try I looked, if dbus is started...it was not, so I started it manually and added it to init.d via rc-update. I made a restart and tried it again without any changes. Is this a problem of gnome-light alone? (maybe something missing?) _________________ Gentoo compiles you to heaven

I experienced the same problem.
Re-emerging dbus solved it here.
so emerge --oneshot -av dbus |

I've done that and even played a bit with the use flags, but the error is still there. (on both my normal pc and my laptop) _________________ Gentoo compiles you to heaven
