How can i switch from the dhcp configued ethernet to an static configured ethernet??

Try this:
First you would edit /etc/conf.d/net and comment out the line that says
Then uncomment the for iface_eth0 that says something about broadcast and netmask...Example:
Code: | #iface_eth0="192.168.0.2 broadcast 192.168.0.255 netmask 255.255.255.0" |

look in /etc/conf.d/net
the format in the provided net file is pretty self-explanatory.
also check /etc/init.d/net.* where the scripts look for their configuration.
(usually all NICs are configured in /etc/conf.d/net and /etc/init.d/net.ethX calls that file, plus ppp links are configured in /etc/conf.d/net.pppX, and called from the /etc/init.d/net.pppX script)
