I have tried to emerge aquamarine from the layman/break-my-gentoo-main repository. I get the following:
Quote:

* aquamarine-0.1.3.tar.bz2 MD5 ;-) ... [ ok ]
* aquamarine-0.1.3.tar.bz2 RMD160 ;-) ... [ ok ]

!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if relevant.

!!! This ebuild is from an overlay: '/usr/portage/local/layman/break-my-gentoo-main'

I have tried the svn version from layman/sabayon. This compiles OK, but when I follow the instructions at http://gentoo-wiki.com/Beryl#Aquamarine I get
Quote:
$ berylaqua-start
No window manager. Waiting...

Any suggestions?

Maybe I shouldn't expect more from an svn version.

I'm a gnome user, so I don't use aquamarine, but I know you can file break-my-gentoo bugs here which might help you get a fixed package.
