hi!
read other threads on this, but found nothing that helps:
kde shows only one refreshrate for each resolution in the display properties. (e.g. 1280x1024: only at 75Hz)
no matter, what i write in xorg.conf (vertrefresh, hsync, useedidfreq), kde shows no reaction. is there anyone who knows, what to do?

i did some experiments with it, today it first did nothing else than 640x480, then i changed something and x didn't start anymore, and the last change got it to 60hz, and also the resolution changed, although it pretended to be 1280x1024 before. now i seem to have _real_ 1280 ... reminds me a bit of windows, what happened today...  but at least the problem is solved. |
