Hmm, something about my kde meta package is really messed up, anytime i try to to upgrade a part of kde it says it is blocked by a version thats in kde 3.5 but apparently kde-3.5.5 is installed, and the things it wants me to upgrade to are the 3.5.5 versions...

so version 3.5.5 of kdebase is blocked by 3.5 but some how 3.5.5 is installed... and blocked... 
I stumbled across this trying to fix a blockage shown by

Moved from Portage & Programming to Unsupported Software.
You are running the monolithic kde package, not the split ones. Aquamarine depends on kwin (split ebuilds), so either fix the ebuild, or switch from the monolithic to split kde packages.
