Weil es ein bißchen mehr Arbeit ist, als nen Schalter umzulegen. Und UTF-8 ist auch kein Allheilmittel gegen Rechtschreibfehler etc.

Man muss nur die ganze DB in UTF-8 konvertieren, aber ansonsten ist das ganz easy... :roll:
