That's great, congratulations for the doc.
But I have a question...
How could I have the bootsplash in all vc consoles? from vc/1 to vc/12? cause now I only have it from vc/1 to vc/6.

This should really be in the support page, but here is the answer:
edit /etc/inittab
find the # TERMINALS section and create (copy and paste c1 - c6) entries for c8 - c12.
It would look something like this:

c3:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 38400 tty3 linux

c5:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 38400 tty5 linux
c6:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 38400 tty6 linux
# no c7 to allow for X
c8:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 38400 tty8 linux
c9:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 38400 tty9 linux
c10:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 38400 tty10 linux
c11:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 38400 tty11 linux
c12:12345:respawn:/sbin/agetty 38400 tty12 linux |
NOTES: The gap for c7 will allow X to still start there, I use SCO Openserver at work so I set my gap to F2 (removed c2 entry). If you will never use X, feel free to add a c7 entry. As usual, YMMV. |
