How the hell do I get this ISA card to work with this Linux version? I can't seem to locate the appropriate kernel option. This was true of 2.6.16 too, but at least I could hack the .config for that version into allowing me to enable the drivers to be built by adding the "CONFIG_NET_VENDOR_SMC" option. Are the drivers for this ISA card just not available anymore in the newer kernel? If so, how would I add support? |

I went the quickinstall way (i.e. I used the menuconfig) and faced the problem too. The point is that WD/SMC submenu depends on ISA support and that is not enabled but default. So you have to go to the Bus options first and enable the ISA. |
