[solved] can't type / keyboard isn't working while in Gnome

I was using gok and after closing it I couldn't type anything in flux.
Funnily enough I *can* type fine not only in terminal, but also in GDM, but once I'm inside flux or gnome I can't anymore.

Any ideas as to what might be causing it?

EDIT: Most definitely a Gnome problem as removing gnome-settings-daemon from fluxbox startup solved it

Try unmergeing and reemerging gnome again?

solved by removing (/renaming) the ~/.gconf/desktop/gnome/accessibility folder
