|
|
I've just updated to modular xorg from XFree86 and did a ton of upgrades. (all so I could merge flash 9)
Now, when I boot up, the virtual terminals are just fine until I start X. Ctrl+ alt+ F2 -F6 gives me a garbled screen that appears out of sync.
I had problems getting X started after the upgrade, so I used xorgconfig to write a new config file. I'm running an Nvidia GForce 4 XSession is kde 3.5.5
x11-base/xorg-x11
Latest version available: 7.1
Latest version installed: 6.8.2-r6
Any ideas or a link? _________________ Regards, Ernie

it might work with the framebuffer of, but that's probably not what you want.
have you searched for relevant options for xorg.conf? _________________ Configuring a Firewall? Try my iptables configuration
