Salve a tutti...
ho un problema con cups che non riesco a risolvere...
Sul mio sistema è installato cups e samba e devo installare una stampante che è condivisa su un desktop gentoo.
Premetto che da un pc winsozz si riesce benissimo a installare la stampante condivisa.
Ogni volta che vado in Menu K->Settings->Printers (su kde) mi appare questo messaggio: | Error - KDE Control Module wrote: |

Connection to CUPS server failed. Check that the CUPS server is correctly installed and running. Error: the IPP request failed for an unknown reason. |
Per il resto non riesco a fare altro...

o le regole di firewall bloccano la porta di cups in entrata o non hai abilitato nella configurazione di cups l'accesso da remoto. |
Dunque...
suppongo che il problema sia sul mio portatile... Con un'altro portatile sempre con gentoo installato non avevo alcun problema di questo tipo.
Perchè dovrei abilitare l'accesso da remoto sul portatile?
